Abstract
Le but de cette etude est de verifier l'influence du sexe, de trois indicateurs de detresse psychologique, de deux ressources personnelles et d'une variable intitulee « etre inquiet par rapport aux examens » en fonction du rendement scolaire et du stress psychologique. Au total, 374 adolescents en quatrieme secondaire ont complete des questionnaires sur les symptomes psychosomatiques, la depression, la solitude, l'estime de soi, l'auto-efficacite et les tracas quotidiens. Le rendement scolaire correspond a la note moyenne obtenue au terme de la premiere etape de l'annee scolaire. Comparativement aux garcons, les filles se sentent davantage affectees par les tracas quotidiens, experimentent plus de detresse psychologique et disposent de moins de ressources personnelles. En revanche, elles presentent un rendement scolaire similaire aux garcons et ce, malgre un niveau d'inquietude plus eleve aux examens. D'autres resultats indiquent que le rendement scolaire ainsi que le stress psychologique sont significativement associes a l'ensemble des variables introduites dans les deux modeles de regression (7 % et 58 % de la variance expliquee, dans l'ordre).
