Proposed Addition to SWMM5 Capability to Model Long Term Continuous Rainfall Dependent Infiltration
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The development of the SPU-LTCRDI (Seattle Public Utilitieslong term continuous rainfall dependent infiltration) method is based upon:• the current SWMM5 Groundwater module; • a model described in section 2.5 of a paper titled, "Simplified Conceptual Structures and Analytical Solutions for Groundwater Discharge Using Reservoir Equations" (Rimmer and Hartmann 2012) which will be referenced as the Section 2.5 model hereinafter; • Darcy's equation for groundwater seepage; and • observations from RDII flow monitoring data. The Section 2.5 model was chosen because of its similarity to the existing SWMM5 Groundwater module which simplified the additional coding necessary to implement the SPU-LTCRDI method into the current SWMM5 engine.During the development of the SPU-LTCRDI method, the aquifer configuration and discharge equations of the current SWMM5 Groundwater module and the Section 2.5 model were combined and subsequently modified for the SPU-LTCRDI method. The following sections describe the aquifer configuration and the groundwater flow components of the SPU-LTCRDI method. As the SWMM5 engine allows for both metric and U.S. traditional units, all variables presented in this paper adopt the same units as their equivalent in the current SWMM5 engine.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
