Broadband cloaking of antenna struts using transmission-line networks
Bibliographic record
Abstract
In this paper, a broadband cloak designed for an application as an antenna strut is presented. The cloak is using the Transmission-Line Network (TLN) concept introduced in [1-2]. In these papers, cloaking was demonstrated for wide incident angle range. Here, we want to reduce scattering from a strut located in the aperture of a reflector antenna. In this case, the wave field is dominated by rays propagating in the direction perpendicular to the focal plane. Therefore, in this paper we modify and optimize the TLN for a specific angle of incidence (broadside). We also study the combination of transmission-line cloaking with hard surfaces cloaking. Simulation and experimental results are presented and they both verify that the cloak works well. The scattering parameters (transmission and reflection coefficients) of the cloaked object are compared with that of uncloaked object and free space. It is shown that although the cloak does not have the same characteristics as free space, it brings a considerable improvement over the uncloaked object case over a broad frequency range.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
