A Multidisciplinary, Multimodal Daycare Concept for Patients with Osteoarthritis - First Results

Ziel der Arbeit ist es, eine Assessment- und Evidenz-basierte Tagesklinik (TK) für muskuloskelettale Funktionsstörungen bei Osteoarthrose (OA) zu beschreiben und erste Ergebnisse vorzustellen. Primäres Zielkriterium ist die funktionale Gesundheit. Im multiprofessionellen Assessment werden patientenbezogene Fragebogen (Allgemeine Gesundheit, Western Ontario and Mc Master University) und klinische Tests (Sechs-Minuten-Gehtest, Aufsteh-Geh-Test) kombiniert, um die Beeinträchtigung der funktionalen Gesundheit vor und nach dreiwöchiger TK zu erfassen. 33 Patienten, w = 25, m = 8, mittleres Alter = 66,4 ± 6,5, wurden im Assessment untersucht und haben an der TK teilgenommen. Frühzeiteffekte zeigen Verbesserungen in den Dimensionen Allgemeine Gesundheit, Physische Gesundheit, Vitalität, Psychische Gesundheit, Schmerz und Soziale Rollenerfüllung (Allgemeine Gesundheit) sowie in den Dimensionen Schmerz (p-Wert < 0,05), Physische Funktion und Steifigkeit (p-Wert < 0,01) des WOMAC. Die klinischen Parameter Ausdauer und Koordination sind ebenfalls verbessert. Assessment- und Evidenz-basierte TK für Patienten mit muskuloskelettalen Funktionsstörungen bei OA ist ein innovatives Versorgungsprinzip und eine geeignete Ergänzung bestehender Optionen des interventionellen Patientenmanagements.
