Cet article pose un regard nouveau sur les dynamiques relationnelles existant entre immigrants compatriotes issus de pays en conflit. Inscrite dans une dmarche de thorisation enracine reposant sur les tmoignages de 36 immigrants et rfugis tablis dans la ville de Qubec, l'tude met en vidence trois scnarios distinguant autant de manires d'apprhender l'apport des compatriotes aux processus d'insertion postmigratoires. Le premier des scnarios observs consiste en la cration, par certaines personnes rencontres, de stratgies d'insertion propices la contribution collective et massive de compatriotes celles-ci. Un second scnario consiste plutt en l'utilisation de stratgies d'insertion impliquant une contribution restreinte de compatriotes alors qu'un troisime et dernier scnario mne l'exclusion des compatriotes des stratgies d'insertion postmigratoires. Ces scnarios se trouvent par ailleurs moduls par le temps de mme que par l'accessibilit des compatriotes et des non-compatriotes.
