Auszug Die Auswahl einer geeigneten Methode zur Erstellung der Bilanz von Rentensystemen der sozialen Sicherheit hängt im Wesentlichen vom Finanzierungsverfahren eines jeweiligen Systems ab. In diesem Artikel wird am Beispiel des Canada Pension Plan dargelegt, dass die Methode, die für die Beurteilung der finanziellen Nachhaltigkeit von umlagebasierten Systemen oder teilweise kapitalgedeckten Systemen mithilfe einer versicherungsmathematischen Bilanz ausgewählt wird, zukünftige Beitragszahlungen aktueller und zukünftiger Teilnehmer berücksichtigen sollte. Es werden Bilanzen untersucht, die anhand eines Ansatzes mit offenen Gruppen erstellt werden, sowie in den USA und in Schweden verwendete Methoden.
