Tl-universit de l'universit du Qubec partir de 1997, les choix qui ont t faits, la nature des services dvelopps et les problmes rencontrs. Il en situe la naissance dans le contexte de la socit qubcoise de l'poque et examine paralllement l'volution de l'enseignement en ligne dans les autres universits qubcoises et le projet de socit de dveloppement du multimdia universitaire. Le bilan de cette volution met en lumire des facteurs propres l'implantation de l'enseignement en ligne et la modification des pratiques pdagogiques, ainsi que des facteurs particuliers la Tl-universit, notamment la dfinition de la stratgie de changement et le pilotage du changement. Il propose galement une rflexion sur la nature des attentes qui accompagnent l'investissement public dans la modernisation technologique.
