La presente etude a examine la coherence interne, la validite concurrente et la fiabilite du test-retest d'une traduction canadienne-francaise du Youth Self-Report d'Achenback (Achenbach, 1991a) dans un echantillonnage non represente dans le groupe d'âge de 13 a 18 ans. Quarante-huit adolescents bilingues et soixante-quatre adolescents anglais et leurs parents ont participe. Une analyse de la variance en comparant le YSR anglais standard et le Child Behavior Checklist (Achenbach, 1991b) n'a pas revele d'effets principaux quant au sexe ou la langue de l'adolescent, mais les adolescents manifestaient davantage de pathologie que les parents. Les echelles standard et francaise du YSR avaient une correlation elevee (r = ,96-,98), et des items paralleles suscitaient des reponses semblables. Le coefficient alphabetique de Cronbach pour les echelles YSR francaises se situait entre 0,83 et 0,92, et les correlations test-retest etaient solides (r = 0,85-0,88). Les adolescents bilingues qui parlaient surtout le francais a la maison manifestaient davantage de pathologie d'internalisation quant au YSR francais qu'au YSR anglais, mais la validation externe est necessaire pour determiner lequel des rapports est plus valide. Une etude plus poussee du YSR francais dans des echantillons representes est recommandee.
