Abstract: The poverty student's is an important part in constructing a harmonious campus. How to make the best use of the work-study program requires us to view the issue from a long-term perspective. The article presents briefly the change and development of the connotation, object and subject of the program through an analysis of the history, current situation and future development of the work-study program. Helping students out of poverty, providing them with good education and helping them grow into useful is a main theme that is in line with the development of times.
