Annually we recognize the papers published in IFT's peer-reviewed journals 2 years prior to the last full publishing year that have been most-cited as reported in Web of Knowledge. Similarly we recognize papers in each of IFT's online journals: most downloaded for JFSE and most cited papers in CRFSFS. In addition, each author receives special recognition and a certificate of achievement at the Reviewers’ Reception at IFT's Annual Meeting and Food Expo. Here are the most-cited or most-downloaded papers from 2009. Congratulations to all of the authors! For 2009, 306 out of 397 papers were cited at least once, the median paper had 2 citations, and the most cited paper had 22 citations.
