Abstract
Die durchschnittliche Gesamtentwicklungszeit betrug im Jahre 1930 einschließlich der Variationen durch das Mikroklima und die individuellen Schwankungen rund 25, im Jahre 1931 55 Tage. Die beiden Werte können als die in der Biotope vorkommenden Extreme betrachtet werden. Die schlechte Wetterlage im Frühjahr 1930 schob die Gesamtentwicklung um rund 8 Tage zu Beginn und 29 Tage zur Zeit des fünften Stadiums hinaus. Die durchschnittliche Entwicklungszeit der Raupenstadien im Jahre 1931, aus den Zweigproben errechnet, war noch etwas kürzer die als jene aus den Zuchtproben. Diese Verkürzung kann nur durch die außerordentlich hohe Eiparasitierung und die starke Reduktion im Raupenstadium infolge biotischer Widerstandsfaktoren erklärt werden. Eine teilweise zweite Generation erfolgte auch unter den für die Raupenentwicklung extrem günstigen Sommer 1931 nicht.
