Abstract
Les teneurs en cadmium de solutions aqueuses contaminées à des teneurs croissantes en arsenic ont été mesurées à l’aide d’un spectrophotomètre d’absorption atomique équipé d’une flamme et d’un four électrothermique. Pour chacune des techniques d’atomisation, a été évaluée une méthode de correction du bruit de fond basée sur le renversement de spectre et connue sous le nom de « high-speed self-reversal method », au regard d’une autre méthode plus couramment utilisée ne nécessitant qu’une lampe au deutérium et une lampe au cadmium. En comparaison avec cette méthode, les résultats ont montré que le mode de correction basé sur le renversement spectral via l’utilisation d’une lampe au cadmium à cathode creuse pulsée à courant variable était une méthode plus appropriée pour corriger les phénomènes d’interférences causés par l’arsenic (As) lors du dosage du cadmium (Cd). Il a été établi que cette méthode permettait de s’affranchir des interférences de l’arsenic pour des ratios [As]/[Cd] inférieurs à 50 000.
