От Великой революции до Большого террора —Судьба бывших нижегородских левых эсеров и анархистов в послереволюционный период

Abstract
Великая Российская революция, кульминацией которой стали события 1917–1918 гг. , вовлекла в политический процесс сотни тысяч представителей «простонародья»: именно молодые рабочие, крестьяне, мещане приняли активнейшее участие в свержении самодержавия, в «конструировании» структур демократической власти, созидании основ новой жизни. Наиболее радикальные и энергичные из них составили костяк организаторов и руководителей крайних левых партий и организаций России: большевиков, левых эсеров, максималистов, анархистов. Казалось, что именно эти политические силы, совместными усилиями ликвидировавшие буржуазно-демократический режим осенью 1917 года, предложили российским трудящимся наиболее эффективные средства решения наболевших общественных проблем, указали наиболее короткие пути к осуществлению идеалов свободы и социальной справедливости. В реальности же сравнительно короткий исторический отрезок длиной в одно человеческое поколение, началом которого стала Великая революция, завершился «эпохой Большого террора». Причем, жертвами политического террора оказались как сами «организаторы победы» – большевики, так и многие их бывшие союзники по «левому блоку». О судьбе ряда эсеров-интернационалистов и анархистов, которые играли видную роль в революционно-освободительном движении в Нижегородской губернии, мы и хотели бы рассказать в этом докладе.
