Abstract
Partant du constat que la polylexicalité est une marque morphologique qui permet d’intégrer dans la traduction la notion d’équivalence entre unités polylexicales et unités monolexicales, nous avons essayé de montrer l’enchevêtrement entre ces deux mécanismes essentiels de la dynamique lexicale, à savoir le figement et la dérivation. Cette complémentarité n’est pas sans poser de problème lors du passage d’une langue à une autre, plus particulièrement du français vers l’arabe ou inversement, étant donné qu’elle est loin de se traduire de la même façon. Ceci représente un obstacle incontournable devant l’élaboration de concordanciers bilingues français-arabe.
