Abstract
Menée à partir de 2700 textes parus dans le Journal of Research in Science Teachings dans Science Education au cours du dernier quart de siècle, la présente étude met en évidence l'importance des travaux de recherche consacrés à l'enseignant de sciences en regard de ceux voués aux autres composantes de l'écologie de la classe. Elle propose une description globale du contenu des 388 articles directement consacrés à l'enseignant de sciences. Le texte conclut sur la place croissante, mais somme toute secondaire, que l'enseignant occupe dans le champ de recherche en enseignement des sciences et observe que les thèmes abordés évoluent au fil des ans.
