A partir de un estudio cualitativo realizado con jóvenes adultos -entre 25 y 36 años- deudores de los créditos de pregrado otorgados por la Corporación de Fomento de la Producción (en adelante Corfo )y residentes en Santiago de Chile, el presente trabajo se ocupa de analizar sus trayectoria de endeudamiento educacional. Los principales hallazgos dan cuenta de las proyecciones económicas y profesionales que los deudores asumen cuando acceden al crédito, las estrategias familiares desarrolladas para obtener y responder al crédito y las difíciles consecuencias personales y familiares que ha significado para los deudores responder a las exigencias de rembolso del crédito.
