Nous avons etudie l'aeschynite-(Y) et le polycrase-(Y) metamictes par diffraction X et par spectroscopie de Raman. Afin de retablir leur structure originelle, ces echantillons ont ete chauffes a divers paliers de temperature. Les temperatures 400, 500, 650, 800 et 1000°C semblent, d'apres les traces thermogravimetriques et thermiques differentiels, etre des etapes importantes dans la restauration ou le changement des structures, qui correspondent en general aux donnees deja disponibles. Nous nous sommes servis de la spectroscopie de Raman pour decouvrir des bandes de vibration possiblement caracteristiques des mineraux metamictes etudies. Les changements de vibration dans ces spectres sont dus au rechauffement, mais revelent aussi des effets possibles sur la structure non observables par rayons X. Les donnees en diffraction X et les spectres de Raman indiquent une augmentation graduelle de la cristallinite a mesure qu'augmente la temperature. Nous observons une transformation de la structure de l'aeschynite a celle de l'euxenite dans les deux mineraux, mais en chauffant jusqu'a 1000°C, elle est incomplete pour l'aeschynite-(Y) et complete pour le polycrase-(Y). Les spectres de Raman des deux mineraux sont semblables, reflexion de leur ressemblance chimique aussi bien que structurale, mais les differences observees dependraient surtout de la facon dont les polyeedres de coordinence sont empiles. Ces differences sont le plus prononcees dans l'intervalle de frequence entre 200 et 550 cm - 1 , qui semble approprie pour reconnaitre les phases minerales ayant la structure de l'aeschynite ou de l'euxenite.
