Abstract
Sommaire La problématique d'engagement des petites and moyennes entreprises (PME) dans l'exportation est d'actualité en Moldavie, mais peu d’études empiriques ont été faites jusqu'ici pour comprendre leur comportement à l'international. Le rôle des facteurs types de l’économie and de la culture moldaves dans la dynamisation des exportations a rarement fait l'objet d'une étude approfondie. Motivé par la littérature qui établit une relation positive entre la croissance des exportations and le développement économique des pays en transition, cet article présente une proposition de recherche sur les PME exportatrices moldaves visant à faire ressortir certaines variables qui les différencient des autres. Le cadre conceptuel proposé dans cet article met de l'avant les liens existants entre le type de PME exportatrice and son comportement à l'international, and insiste sur une analyse différenciée des voies d'exportation propres aux PME traditionnelles, « born global » and « born-again global ». En nous appuyant sur les prémisses théoriques des modèles par étapes, des modèles des réseaux and des théories des investissements directs étrangers, nous formulons des hypothèses de recherche qui se situent sur trois niveaux d'analyse différents, à savoir le niveau individuel, organisationnel and national.
