Abstract
RÉSUMÉ Ce livre vient enrichir le débat national sur le vieillissement de la population et les options de politiques en récusant la notion voulant que le vieillissement de la population mène à une crise sociale. Son approche intègre le vaudou et la démographie apocalyptique en tant que concepts de recherche sociale. Le compte rendu constitue un cadre de séparation de la science des politiques de recherche en vieillissement et fournit des définitions de concepts chargés de valeurs qui pourraient ne pas etre familiers à certains lecteurs. La division s'impose si l'on veut contourner la rhétorique et apprécier l'apport de ce livre.
