Abstract
PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan berkembang yang bergerak dibidang transportasi pelayaran yang menyediakan jasa angkutan penyeberangan baik penumpang, kendaraan maupun logistik (kargo). Era revolusi informasi ini mengarah pada adanya peningkatan penggunaan informasi dan teknologi komunikasi untuk menciptakan, memberikan dan menggunakan informasi. Strategi sistem informasi mempermudah perusahaan untuk mengelola informasi agar perusahaan dapat bersaing dengan para kompetitornya. Untuk mendapatkan strategi sistem informasi, dibutuhkan sebuah perencanaan strategi sistem informasi agar strategi yang dibutuhkan perusahaan sesuai dengan visi, misi, dan tujuan perusahaan. Perencanaan strategi sistem informasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ward dan Peppard dengan menggunakan teknik analisis Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat (SWOT), analisis value chain , analisis five porter competitive force model , analisis Politik, Ekonomi, Sosial, Teknologi (PEST), analisis critical success factor (CSF), analisis gap, Mc farlan’s strategic grid dan Balanced scorecard. Hasil dari analisis perencanaan strategi sistem informasi adalah blueprint perencanaan strategi sistem informasi meliputi strategi SI, strategi Manajemen SI/TI, dan Strategi TI. Kata Kunci: Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi, Ward dan Peppard, Analisis dan Operasional PT. XYZ is a growing company engaged in shipping transport which provide good passenger transport services crossing, vehicles and logistics (cargo). Todays information age leads to increasing of information usage and communication technology to create, deliver and utilize the information. Information system strategy facilitate company to manage informations in order to compete with its competitors. To meet the strategy needed, company have to do a serious planning on information system strategy that aligned with its vision, mision and the company’s objectives. Information system strategy planning at PT XYZ uses Ward and Peppard methodology with some techniques, that are Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat analysis (SWOT), value chain analysis, Porter analysis of five competitive force models, Politic, Economic, Social, Technology analysis (PEST), critical success factor analysis, gap analysis, Mc Farlan's strategic grid and Balanced scorecard. The results of information system strategy planning is blueprint which consist of IS strategy, IS/IT Management strategy, and IT strategy.
