Depuis l’avènement du Web 2.0 s’est développé le marketing participatif, qui vise à faire des consommateurs des acteurs du marketing des organisations. On observe notamment un fort développement des opérations qui ont pour but de faire participer les consommateurs à la création ou au choix des publicités. Cet article tente de répondre à deux questions fondamentales : pourquoi s’engager dans une opération publicitaire participative et comment le faire de manière efficace? Après avoir présenté les différentes formes que peut revêtir une opération de publicité participative, nous mettons en évidence les avantages potentiels, mais également les limites et les risques d’une telle opération, ainsi que ses conditions de succès.
