Abstract
Resumo : Este trabalho avanca no estudo dos recursos retoricos utilizados na musica eletroacustica, especialmente naquele que faz uso da figura sintatica chamada epanalepse, propria da literatura e do discurso verbal. Para ilustrar o estudo sao analisados trechos de duas obras eletroacusticas: uma obra do brasileiro Tim Rescala e outra do canadense Francis Dhomont. O uso da repeticao expressiva de objetos sonoros, objetos musicais e elementos musicais em geral, sem qualquer intencao de uma estetica minimalista, evidencia a pratica inconsciente de uma retorica eletroacustica. Electronic epanalepsis: the expressive repetition, non-minimalist, in electroacoustic music Abstract: This paper advances in the study of rhetorical resources used in electroacoustic music, especially that which uses the syntactic figure called epanalepsis, usual in literature and verbal discourse. To illustrate the study it's presented an analyzis of parts of two electroacoustic compositions: a work of the brazilian composer Tim Rescala and other of the canadian composer Francis Dhomont. The use of expressive repetition of sound objects, musical objects and musical elements in general, without any intention of a minimalist aesthetic, shows a unconscious practice of an electroacoustic rhetoric.
