USO DO PROCESSO DE ELETROCOAGULAÇÃO/FLOTAÇÃO NO TRATAMENTO DE EFLUENTE DE PÓS-TINGIMENTO DE UMA INDÚSTRIA DE REDES

Abstract
RESUMO A indústria têxtil necessita de intenso consumo de água e produtos químicos, produzindo grandes quantidades de efluentes. As tecnologias de tratamento convencionais apresentam baixa eficiência de remoção de corantes. O presente trabalho visa avaliar a eficiência do processo de eletrocoagulação/ flotação com eletrodo de alumínio no tratamento de efluente de pós- tingimento de uma indústria de redes usando eletrodo de alumínio, com objetivo de reutilizá-lo no processo produtivo. Os experimentos foram realizados num reator cilíndrico de 2,8 L, operando em batelada com TDH de 70 minutos. Realizou-se um estudo onde foram monitorados: turbidez, temperatura, pH, condutividade, DQO e absorbância no UV-visível. Os resultados obtidos mostraram reduções médias acima de 70% para DQO e 80 % para remoção de cor que foi comprovado pelo decaimento da absorbância na faixa do UV-vis, mostrando que a tecnologia proposta tem grande potencialidade para o tratamento de efluente têxtil.
