Abstract
Cet article porte sur les caractéristiques pragmatiques de la reprise dialogique d’une insulte conventionnelle à travers l’analyse de l’énoncé « Casse-toi pov’con » écrit sur une affiche brandie par un sympathisant du PS, Hervé Eon, lors d’une visite de Nicolas Sarkozy à Laval en août 2008. Dans un premier temps on revient sur l’énoncé « Casse-toi alors pauvre con » prononcé par N. Sarkozy au Salon de l’agriculture et sur ses multiples reprises pour s’intéresser aux modalités de construction d’un évènement de parole au sein de la sphère politique nationale et internationale. On se focalise ensuite sur le deuxième énoncé, dont la configuration énonciative et le statut pragmatique posent problème. Le locuteur responsable de l’énoncé est-il celui qui porte l’affiche (Hervé Eon) ou l’énoncé, relevant du discours direct libre, doit-il être attribué à Nicolas Sarkozy, que Hervé Eon ne ferait que citer ? Dans ce cas, quel est l’acte accompli par Hervé Eon ? Au-delà, on s’intéresse à la cristallisation d’enjeux sociaux que cet énoncé, par ses reprises multiples et polémiques, met en lumière et construit en même temps.
