키네시오 테이핑이 요통 대상자의 요부 신전 운동프로그램에 미치는 영향

이 연구는 키네시오 테이핑을 적용하고 운동프로그램을 실시하였을 때 키네시오 테이핑의 효과를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 연구 대상자는 경북 K대학에 재학중인 요통이 있는 젊은 성인 16명을 대조군과 실험군으로 하여 실시하였다. 대조군은 운동프로그램만을 적용하였고 실험군은 키네시오 테이핑을 적용하고 운동프로그램을 실시하였다. 측정요인은 요부신전근회전력, 시각상사척도(VAS), Quebec 요통 점수를 4주간의 중재기간을 두어 운동전ㆍ후에 측정하였으며 요부신전근회전력의 측정은 72도, 60도, 48도, 36도, 24도, 12도, 0도 굴곡으로 총 7개의 각도에서 신전근력을 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과 실험군은 요부신전근회전력이 0도를 제외한 각도에서 모두 유의한 증가를 보였으며, 대조군에서는 36도, 60도에서 유의한 증가를 나타내었다. 시각상사척도에서 통증은 두 그룹 모두에서 유의한 감소를 나타내었으며, Quebec 요통 점수 또한 두 그룹 모두에서 유의한 감소를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 테이핑이 요부 신전 운동프로그램이 요부 신전근력과 통증의 감소에 보조적으로 더욱 큰 도움을 주어 임상적으로 요통 환자에게 적용하였을 때 효과적인 방법이라 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
