Abstract
O artigo analisa duas importantes obras publicadas em fins da década de 1950 e, considerando seus modos de configurar e narrar o curso de formação das idéias nacionalistas no Brasil, identifica forte proximidade entre Nelson Werneck Sodré e João Cruz Costa. By taking into consideration their configurations and narration of the course for the formation of the nationalist ideas in Brazil, it identifies a strong proximity between Nelson Werneck Sodré and João Cruz Costa.
