Abstract
Le present texte porte sur l' inclusion 1 des enfants ayant des incapacites dans les milieux de garde. Il s'inscrit dans le cadre des travaux de maitrise en sante communautaire a l'Universite Laval, Quebec. Rejoignant le champ d'exercice de l'ergotherapie, la demarche se base sur la participation et l'inclusion sociale. Il s'agit de determiner les besoins de formation des educatrices 2 , afin de les soutenir lors de l'inclusion des enfants ayant des besoins particuliers dans les services de garde. Quatre themes principaux sont abordes: 1) la situation actuelle de l'accueil en service de garde dans le reseau quebecois ; 2) l'integration et l'inclusion sociales des enfants handicapes ; 3) les facteurs a considerer pour surmonter les obstacles a l'inclusion ; 4) les roles de l'ergotherapeute en lien avec les besoins de formation des educatrices. Les resultats de la demarche sont presentes, ainsi que des recommandations pour une inclusion reussie. Des propositions d'interventions et de recherche quant a l'inclusion terminent cette reflexion.
