Abstract
Cette présentation approfondie des travaux d’Helene Deutsch et de Moritz Katan met en lumière l’étayage que les entités théorico-cliniques de « comme si » et de « prépsychose », respectivement élaborées par ces auteurs, semblent avoir fourni à la conceptualisation ultérieure, par Lacan, de la notion de « suppléance » : en l’occurrence, les diagnostics de psychose que la première n’a pas manqué de poser derrière des tableaux cliniques « d’apparence normale » et le repérage subséquent par le second, chez des sujets non déclenchés, de tentatives prépsychotiques de « suppléer » à l’absence de triangulation œdipienne. L’appréhension des structures psychotiques non déclenchées ouvre en particulier la question du rôle des identifications (non introjectives) chez des sujets parvenant à maintenir stable un édifice psychique pourtant fragile, pendant une période parfois considérablement longue et/ou en dépit d’une conjoncture propice au déclenchement. La mise en correspondance des notions de « comme si », prépsychose, compensation et suppléance (en l’occurrence imaginaire) contribue, au-delà du dégagement de points de recouvrement et de divergences théoriques, à l’esquisse de perspectives thérapeutiques. Ces dernières visent à aider le sujet à échafauder un dispositif lui permettant d’enrayer le déploiement de sa psychose.
