Abstract
L’article présente une étude menée en 2009 pour évaluer le niveau de satisfaction d’étudiants inscrits dans un programme d’immersion offert dans une université bilingue au Canada par rapport à leurs cours de langue. Ce programme inspiré du modèle des cours associés propose des cours d’encadrement linguistique à deux niveaux : le 1er niveau est axé sur les habiletés réceptives alors que le 2e vise les habiletés productives. Les résultats obtenus suite à un questionnaire de 60 questions de type Likert révèlent les perceptions des étudiants des deux niveaux par rapport à l’efficacité des activités linguistiques pour l’amélioration de leurs compétences linguistiques et leur apprentissage de la discipline. Ces données sont ensuite comparées à celles de 2006 pour faire ressortir l’évolution des perceptions. Malgré une meilleure perception générale des activités, des différences significatives restent présentes entre les deux niveaux et par rapport à certaines activités. L’article conclut sur des suggestions afin d’améliorer la production écrite des étudiants.
