Dado que los calendarios de producción de una revista son los que son, escribo esto a mediados de junio y ¡llega a sus manos a mediados de diciembre!Escritos con tanta antelación, se diría que estos editoriales poca novedad podrán aportar … pero en el mes de julio se producirán (ya se han producido J ) cambios importantes en Global Health Promotion.Después de tres años como Jefe de Redacción, expira mi mandato y se ha seleccionado a la Dra.Suzanne F. Jackson, de la Escuela de Salud Pública de Dalla Lana de la Universidad de Toronto, que ya ha tomado posesión del cargo.El objetivo principal de este editorial es presentarles a Suzanne, pero antes quisiera reconocer mi admiración y manifestar mi gratitud hacia mis compañeros de trabajo, empezando por las tres Coordinadoras editoriales de Global Health Promotion durante el ejercicio de mi cargo : Martha Perry, Aurélie de Gournay, y actualmente, Sara Bensaude De Castro Freire.Las tres han trabajado con un nivel de profesionalidad y de dedicación fuera de toda duda para mí, pero tal vez menos evidente para los lectores.Me he sentido apoyado por ellas hasta un nivel que no puedo calcular de manera que resulte creíble : la intensidad de su empeño podría situarse entre el 150 por ciento y el infinito.Mis conocimientos de aritmética me dicen que esto no es posible, pero mi experiencia confirma la existencia de lo imposible.Estas magníficas Coordinadoras editoriales han logrado lo imposible en parte porque no han trabajado solas en
