Abstract
Einleitung: Ein Drittel der angeborenen Herzfehler wird durch Klappenfehlbildungen verursacht. Für viele dieser angeborenen Klappenfehler konnte bisher keine ursächliche Mutation gefunden werden. Mittels neuer genetischer Methoden war es möglich eine noch nicht beschrieben homozygote Mikrodeletion in der ADAMTS19 Metalloproteinase zu identifizieren.
