Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Calcium plays essential roles in the contraction of striated and smooth muscle types. Changes in cytoplasmic concentration of Ca 2+ depend in general on the calcium channels and pumps at the cytoplasmic and endoplasmic/sarcoplasmic reticulum membrane. As we have shown previously, lymphatic muscle has a unique combination of the striated and smooth muscle contractile and regulatory proteins (Muthuchamy et al., 2003). However, very little is known about the composition of the Ca 2+ ‐channels and pumping structures in the intracellular stores of lymphatic muscle. Our immunohistochemistry data with confocal microcopy from whole isolated vessels preparation, frozen sections and lymphatic muscle cell culture demonstrates the presence of inositol 1,4,5‐triphosphate receptor type 3 (IP3R3) channels, Ca 2+ transporting ATPase type 2a1 (SERCA2a1) and Ca 2+ transporting ATPase type 2a2 (SERCA2a2) at intracellular stores of rat mesenteric lymphatic vessels, cervical lymphatics and thoracic duct. Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
