Résumé Aux yeux des clients, du personnel et des partenaires, la prestation de service dans les organisations publiques et privées est souvent devenue soit inexistante, soit non fonctionnelle. Quelques exemples illustrent cette désintégration qui provient en grande partie du transfert et de l’abandon de l’obligation d’assurer le service. La logique dominante du service propose un virage pour réintégrer la valeur de la relation client au sein de la stratégie de service. Afin de diagnostiquer l’état de la relation client, quelques questions sont suggérées pour faciliter l’analyse du gestionnaire.
