Abstract
Dr. Florian Stadlbauer ist Diplom-Kaufmann und promovierte 2006 am Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Neue Medien der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Seine Forschung führte ihn unter anderem an die Schulich School of Business der York University in Toronto (Kanada). Seit dem Jahr 2006 ist er Geschäftsführer der Deck13 Interactive GmbH, die Computer- und Videospiele entwickelt, darunter auch das Rollenspiel „Venetica“, das der Frankfurter bei der Ringvorlesung vorstellt. Neben seinem Job ist er Vorstands-mitglied der Vereinigung von Computerherstellern aus Frankfurt und dem Rhein-Main-Gebiet sowie Jury-Mitglied beim Gamesload Newcomer Award. \n \nDer Vortrag behandelt das Thema am Beispiel des Projekts „Venetica“, das sowohl für PC als auch für die Xbox360 veröffentlich wurde und kürzlich den deutschen Entwicklerpreis für das beste Actionspiel 2009 gewonnen hat. Der Referent spricht dabei über die wesentlichen Phasen der Entwicklung - beginnend mit der Erstellung des Konzepts über die Auswahl der Projektmitarbeiter, die tatsächliche Entwicklung sowie Portierung auf die Konsole bis hin zur Veröffentlichung des Spiels. Dabei ergeben sich tiefe Einblicke in den Aufbau eines Spieleentwicklers und seine kreativen Prozesse aber auch Produktionsprozesse.
