Preparation and Properties of Cerium Conversion Coatings on the Surface of Aircraft Envelope
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The surface modification of LY12 Al-alloy based aircraft envelope by cerium conversion coating was studied, aiming at improving the repairing quality of the aircraft envelope.Based on measurement of weight and evaluation of corrosion resistance of the Ce conversion film, the bath for preparing the Ce conversion film was primarily determined to be composed of Ce(NO3)3 + KMnO4 + Ce-1(chemical additive),and the pH value, temperature of the bath, and conversion time were determined to be 1.5-2.7,25℃,and 5-9 min, respectively. At the same time,L9(34)orthogonal test was carried out to optimize the bath formulation and processing parameters as well. The optimized bath formulation was determined as 1.0 g/L KMnO4 + 14.0 g/L Ce(NO3)3 + 0.3 g/L additive Ce-1,while the optimized processing parameters were determined to be pH value of 1.5-2.7,temperature of 20℃,and conversion time of 5 min.Under the same test conditions, the cerium conversion coating obtained from the optimized cerium salt conversion fluid showed better corrosion resistance than Alodine-1001 obtained from Bombardier Corporation of Canada, meeting the demands for repairing of aircraft envelope.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
