Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Objective:Myocardial bridges are a relatively uncommon congenital anomaly of the coronary artery, this study aims to evaluate the treatment of coronary myocardial bridge by off- pump coronary artery bypass. Methods:A total of 13 patients who underwent surgery from April 2004 to January 2009 were included in this study.Mean age was 48 years. There were 5 men and 8 women. All of the 13 patients had had angina pectoris preoperatively,They were myocardial bridges only.Conventional coronary angiography prior to surgery demonstrated myocardial bridging of the left anterior descending artery in all patients. Patients were clinically symptomatic despiteβ-blocker therapy. They underwent off-pump supraarterial decompression myotomy of the LAD and coronary artery bypass grafting by using internal mammary artery. Results:No patient was convert to cardiopulmonary bypass,All patients survived the operation and recovered uneventfully.Follow-up of all patients ranged from 6 months to 50 months and showed no late death, readmission,or angina complaint. There was no hospital death.Complete recovery was achieved in the postoperative period in all patients. Conclusions:Excellent early surgical results are obtained in all patients.Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting are appropriate alternatives to PTCA,endovascular stent placement in the management of symptomatic myocardial bridging.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
