Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Objective To investigate the different therapeutic efficacies of acupuncture with different needle-retaining time in treating Bell's palsy, and to seek the best needle-retaining time.Method A total of 120 patients with Bell's palsy were randomized into group A, group B, and group C, 40 in each. With the same point selection for acupuncture, group A had a needle retaining time of 10 min, group B had 20 min, and group C had 30 min.Toronto Facial Grading System (TFGS) and facial electroneurography were adopted to see the improvements in the three groups after treatment.Result In comparing of the amplitude-loss percentage and TFGS score after treatment, group A was significantly different from group B and group C (P0.05).The differences between group B and group C were insignificant in comparing the amplitude-loss percentage and TFGS score after treatment (P0.05).Conclusion A needle-retaining time of 20 min can achieve a satisfactory result in improving TFGS score and facial electroneurography of Bell's palsy, and it can be considered as a reference for clinic.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
