Abstract
Researched the effects of Ni2+ stress at different concentrations on seed germination and seedling growth of Haloxylon ammodendron,Hedysarum scoparium,Reaumuria soongorica,Artemisia sphaerocephala,Halogeton glomeratus,Bassia dasyphylla and Corispermum declinatum.The results showed that Ni2+ stress had the most distinct effect on Corispermum declinatum seed germination,relative obvious effect on Hedysarum scoparium seed germination,light effect on Haloxylon ammodendron,Reaumuria soongorica,Bassia dasyphylla and Halogeton glomeratus seed germination,only when Ni2+ concentration was 500 mg/L,their germination rate decreased remarkably.The sequence of relative inhibition rate of seedling length and root length was:Corispermum declinatumReaumuria soongoricaArtemisia sphaerocephalaHedysarum scopariumBassia dasyphyllaHaloxylon ammodendronHalogeton glomeratus,and the sequence of relative inhibition rate of fresh weight was:Corispermum declinatumReaumuria soongoricaArtemisia sphaerocephalaHalogeton glomeratusBassia dasyphylla HaloxylonammodendronHedysarum scoparium.This study indicated that Haloxylon ammodendron has strongest resistant capacity for Ni2+ stress,and Halogeton glomeratus,Bassia dasyphylla,Hedysarum scoparium,Artemisia sphaerocephala and Reaumuria soongorica was the next,resistant capacity of Corispermum declinatum was the worst.Compared with seed germination,seedling growth was more sensitive to Ni2+ stress,and the change of root growth could be used as an important index to evaluate heavy metal toxicity.
