Wild Luding lily is Liliaceae Lilium perennial herbs,with very high medicinal and ornamental value.Under natural conditions Luding lily seed germination rate is very low,mainly depend on the bud bulbs reproducing.For study the wild Luding lily seed dormancy and germination characters,different constant temperature 20 ℃,30 ℃ and variable temperature 20 ℃ to 30 ℃ were studied under light(day light 12 hr per day) and dark conditions.stratified for 7,14,21,28 d and 60d at 5 ℃,respectively.And treated with 100 mg/L GA3 as well as.The results showed that: constant 20 ℃ and variable 20 ℃ to 30 ℃ under dark conditions were optimum condition for wild Luding lily seed germination,with the shortest germination time and the highest germination rates 45%;also 100 mg/L of GA3 treatment on seed germination significantly improved.but 5 ℃ stratification treatment had no significant facilitating role for the wild Luding lily seed germination.
