Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Objective To assess the association of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) with severity of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS),excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS),and mood in patients with OSAS.Methods 108 patients with OSAS were assessed for HRQoL using the Calgary quality of life index (SAQLI),for EDS using the Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS),and for mood using the Zung self-rated depression scale (SDS).The association between each domain and the total score on SAQLI and the polysommographic parameters, person factors,ESS score,SDS score were examined by Person linear correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results There was no relationship between SAQLI and the severity of OSAS.Four domains and the total score on SAQLI were significantly correlated with the SDS and ESS score.Stepwise multiple regression analysis selected two variables, the SDS score and ESS score,as independent factors for predicting the total score of SAQLI which accounted for the 28.3% of the total variance in the total score on SAQLI (R 2 =0.283,P0.001).Conclusions The HRQoL of patients with OSAS was strongly correlated with the depression scale and ESS score.Mood is the most important factor to affect the HRQoL of patients with OSAS.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
