Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship of self-esteem, alexithymia and mental health in nursing students. Methods 300 nursing students in Anhui Medical College completed questionnairs consisting of Self-esteem Scale (SES), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS) and Symptom Cheklist-90 (SCL-90) The score of SCL-90 were compared with Chinese norms of middle school ,and the relationship of SES, TAS and SCL-90 scores were analyzed. Results Nursing students showed a higher score on SCL-90 depression and phobia subscale, but less score on somatization, hostile and paranoia subscale than Chinese norm. A positive correlation were found between SCL-90 scores and TAS total score, TAS subscale 1,2 scores, but a negative correlation between SCL-90 scores and the scores of SES,TAS subscale3. Regression analysis also suggested that the lower self-esteem and alexithymia were predictive of psychological problem. ConclusionLower self-esteem and alexithymia have some affect on mental health, suggesting that it is important to improve nursing students psychological health by raising self-esteem and reducing alexithymia.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
