A solid phase extraction /ultra performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the analysis of residues of 4- Chlorophenoxyacetic acid,5- Nitroguaiacolate,Thidiazuron and Forchlorfenuron in apple. Samples were extracted with 80% acetonitrile water solution,and then concentrated and cleaned up on a HLB solid phase column. The separation of target compounds was carried out on a BEH C18column( 2. 1mm ×50 mm,1. 7 μm) under gradient condition using methanol- 30 mmol /L NH4 Ac as the mobile phase. The recoveries ranged from 90. 1% to 95. 2% with the relative standard deviations of 1. 1%- 2. 4%. The detection limits of 4- chlorophenoxyacetic acid,5- nitroguaiacolate,thidiazuron and forchlorfenuron are 1mg /kg,1mg /kg,1mg /kg,and 0. 4 mg /kg,respectively. The developed method is simple and fast,and it can be used to detect four kinds of plant growth regulaters in apple.
