Characteristics of eventrelated potentials in patients with Alzheimer disease
Bibliographic record
Abstract
AIM:To investigate the characteristics of eventrelated potential P300(P300) in patients with Alzheimer disease(AD) associated with its clinical features.METHODS:Fortyone patients with AD served in the AD group were selected from the outpatients and inpatients in Chinese PLA Prevention and Treatment Center for Mental Diseases,The 91 Hospital of Chinese PLA from April 2001 to February 2004.Thirtythree healthy elder people were served as the controls.P300 was tested with brain evoked potential instrument in the two groups.Minimental state examination(MMSE) and functional life scale(FLS) were used to judge cognitive impairment(the lower the scores are,the more serious the cognitive impairment is) and assess activity of daily living(ADL)(the more the scores are,the poorer the selfcare ability is) respectively. The association of P300 with the clinical features was assessed.RESULTS:All the 74 cases were included in the result analysis.①The scores of MMSE in the AD group were significantly lower than those in the control group(15.2±4.2 vs 26.8±2.1,t=14.97,P 0.01).②The scores of FLS were higher in the AD group than in the control group(25.1±12.8 vs 16.8±3.1,t=3.64,P 0.01).③Compared with control group, the patients in AD group showed delayed latency of target N2,P3 and nontarget P2 of P300(t=2.57 to 5.09,P 0.05 to 0.01),decreased amplitudes of target P3 and nontarget P2 of P300(t=5.51 and 3.03,both P 0.01),and increased ratio of Target P4(χ2=10.90,P 0.01).④The scores of MMSE was correlated negatively with the latency of partial target stimulation and ratio of target P4 of P300,but positively with the amplitudes(P 0.05 to 0.01).The FLS scores were correlated positively with the latency of partial target stimulation and ratio of target P4 of P300,but negatively with the amplitudes(P 0.05 to 0.01).CONCLUSION:The brain evoked potential in patients with AD has multiple variation, which is correlated with the clinical features. The ratio of target P4 of P300 is a new index, and its clinical application deserves more intensive studies.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
