Passes la fascination premire, les fulgurances initiales et l'impression de dcouvrir un nouveau monde plein de richesses insouponnes, la lecture de l'oeuvre de Gilles Deleuze droute souvent les nophytes par cet trange alliage de vises systmatiques ambitieuses 1 et de rfrences htroclites 2 , ce qui laisse frquemment perplexe quand vient le temps d'adopter un point de vue critique qui se refuse tout accepter ou rejeter en bloc. Matre-assistant l'cole nationale suprieure d'architecture de Versailles (France) et auteur d'une thse de doctorat intitule La notion de problme chez Gilles Deleuze, Vincent Jacques rsume bien cette situation ds les premires pages de son ouvrage, et sa monographie offre une manire de s'y retrouver un peu mieux dans cette oeuvre. En ce sens, son livre est mme une rponse deleuzienne au Qu'est-ce que s'orienter dans la pense? Kantien, qui revient constamment sous sa plume comme un leitmotiv lancinant (Jacques 5, 26, 108, 144, 173).
