Abstract
Nurses excel at hiding their light under a bushel. Very few seem to believe that what they are doing is in any way extraordinary. Unlike medicine, nursing is an inherently modest profession. Can you imagine doctors not taking credit where credit is due? Or not due, indeed, because it is often nurses who have the vision to introduce changes that make a real difference.
