Abstract
Beaucoup de critiques ont été faites au “Manifeste” “Pour une littérature-monde en français” publié dans Le Monde en 2007, et aux publications qui l’ont suivi (2007, 2010). Cependant, de manière surprenante, d’une part, on a très peu remarqué que les auteurs du livre-manifeste sont tous des “littéraires,” et d’autre part, sauf pour quelques rares interventions (sur certains films), on a très peu écrit sur les autres médias/arts de la culture-monde comme le cinéma, les séries télé, et la bd. Dans cet article, je voudrais répondre à des questions comme “Peut-on étendre la notion de littérature-monde à d’autres médias/arts?” Et si oui, “À quoi cela peut-il servir?” En prenant l’exemple de la bande dessinée québécoise Paul à Québec (2011) de Michel Rabagliati, je montre comment la bd peut contribuer de manière critique et constructive aux débats sur une Culture-Monde, sans nécessairement passer par la case départ, celle du centre, Paris-France.
