Validation de l'échelle de Leadership Transformatif du directeur d'école

Abstract
La presente etude a pour but d'elaborer et de verifier la structure factorielle d'un questionnaire portant sur le leadership transformatif du directeur d'ecole. Ce Questionnaire a d'abord ete pre teste aupres de 114 etudiants universitaires inscrits dans un cours de comportement organisationnel avant d'etre administre a 481 enseignants quebecois de l'ordre secondaire au Quebec. Les resultats des analyses factorielles confirmatoires montrent que le modele avec une structure d une dimension de troisieme ordre (leadership transformatif), deux dimensions de second ordre (leadership transactionnel, leadership transformationnel) et une dimension de premier ordre (leadership laisser-faire) presente le meilleur ajustement aux donnees. Ce modele est conforme a la theorie du leadership transformatif de Bass (1985) qui constitue le cadre theorique de l'etude. Ce questionnaire pourra contribuer a decrire empiriquement le leadership des directeurs d'ecole.
