Abstract
Latar Belakang: Di Indonesia hipertensi merupakan penyebab kematian nomor tiga \nsetelah stroke dan tuberkulosis. Tahun 2008, di Kabupaten Magelang terdapat \npenderita hipertensi sebanyak 26.908 jiwa, sedangkan tahun 2014 di Dusun Dawung \nterdapat 50% lansia hipertensi. Hipertensi jika dibiarkan dapat berkembang menjadi \nkomplikasi serius bahkan menyebabkan kematian. Salah satu pengobatan alternatif \nyang dapat mengatasi hipertensi adalah bekam, karena mekanisme bekam mampu \nmembuat vaso dilatasi pada kapiler dan arteriol sehingga dapat menurunkan tekanan \ndarah. \nTujuan:Diketahui pengaruh terapi bekam satu titik terhadap tingkat tekanan darah \npada lansia hipertensi di Dusun Dawung magelang. \nMetode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan \nnon equivalent control group. Penelitian dilakukan tanggal 13 Oktober 2014 sampai \ndengan tanggal 9 Februari 2015 di Dusun Dawung Magelang. Populasinya sebanyak \n20 orang dan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan \nmetode total sampling. Uji normalitas data menggunakan shapiro wilk. Analisis data \nmenggunakan uji paired t-test dan wilcoxon. \nHasil: Hasil uji statistik dengan paired t-test yaitu p value untuk tekanan darah \nsistolik pre dan post pada kelompok intervensi sebesar p (0,002) < 0,05 dan untuk \ntekanan diastolik pre dan post kelompok intervensi yaitu p value (0,81) > 0,05. \nKesimpulan : Ada pengaruh terapi bekam satu titik terhadap tingkat tekanan darah \nsistolik pre dan post pada kelompok intervensi. \nSaran : Diharapkan lansia mau menggunakan terapi alternatif bekam untuk \nmengatasi hipertensinya.
