Muhammed el-Mâliki (1946-2004) XXI asrin baslarinda yasamis sufilerden biri olup bir cok tarikatten icazet almis bir zattir. Daha kucuk yasindayken dini egi-timini babasindan almis. Ondan sonra Felâh ve Savletiye medreselerinde seri ilimleri okumaya baslamis. Bu medreselerden mezun olduktan sonra doktora yapmak icin Misir’daki el-Ezher universitesine gitmistir. Onun doktora tezinin konusu “el-Muvatta ve inâyetu’l-Ummeti bihi”. dir. Seyyit Muhammed b. Alevi hazretlerinin babasi Mekke’nin en buyuk ve say-gin âlimlerindendi. Hayatta iken hem Mekke Muftulugu hem de Haremi Serifte mu-derrislik gorevini de yuruten Seyyid Alevi b. Abbas el-Maliki, yine donemin ta-ninmis tasavvuf buyuklerindendi. Bu âilenin Mâliki lakabiyla isimlendirilmesinin sebebine gelince, dedelerim-den birisi Serif Avn’i-Refik Pasa’nin doneminde Mâliki mezhebinin onemli fetva kursusune geldiginden beri bu âile Mâliki lakabiyla anilmaya baslamistir.” Mek-ke’deki ilmi calismalari sirasinda yine pek cok ulkeye ziyaretler yapmis, Kana-da’dan, Endonezya’ya, Turki Cumhuriyetlere, Banglades Pakistan, Kenya, Turkiye ve Yemen’e kadar bircok ulkeye gitmis oralarda talebeleri, muritleri ve sevenleri ile birlikte olmus, bu ulkelerde okullar ve medreseler acmistir.Talebelerinin bircogu Endonezyalidirlar.Muhammed el-Mâliki donemin ehli-sunnet mudâfisi olmustur. He was been trained in religious education by his father just he was childhood. After then he started to study Islamic law learnings in madrasahes of Felâh and Savletiye. After the gradution he went to Al-Azhar Uni-versity in Egypt for doing postgraduate studies. Seyyit Muhammed b. Alevi’s father was scholar from most important and respected scholars of Mecca. Seyyid Alevi b. Abbas el-Maliki433 served as mufti of Mecca and instructor at Harem Sheriff. He was also well-known sufi person in the period. Since Serif Avn’i-Refik Pasa434, who was his grandpa, had gotten involved in important fatwa chair of Mâliki sect the family have been named Mâliki.435 When he was studying in Mecca he visited to many countries. Canada, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Turskih Republics, Pakistan, Kenya, Yemen and Turkey were some of them. He contacted with his students, followers and lovers in these countries. Ma-inly his studets are Indonesian.436 Muhammed el-Mâliki was the defender of Sunni in the period. His works ha-ve been translated in many languages. Especially, his works named “Mefâhim yecibu en tusehhah” “fehmu’n-Nusus fi mencehi’s-Selef” is consulted sources by the Sunni scholars.
