Abstract
Se basant sur le récit d’un projet de recherche-création mené au doctorat en Études et Pratiques des Arts à l’UQAM, cet article propose des outils de compréhension d’un processus de recherche sur l’interprétation en danse contemporaine, issu de l’expérience de l’artiste/chercheuse. La démarche méthodologique emprunte à la théorisation en action (Masciotra, 1998), à la recherche heuristique (Moustakas, 2001), à l’ethnographie, à l’autoethnographie (Fortin, 2006) et à l’analyse en mode écriture (Paillé et Muchielli, 2012). L’article décrit et analyse plus spécifiquement certains temps charnières et déterminants de la recherche-création, soit l’élaboration du projet de création, la collecte de données sur le terrain et les différents modes d’analyse mis en œuvre pour déplier la subjectivité de la chercheuse. La recherche en art depuis le lieu d’une pratique sera ainsi considérée, pour l’artiste/chercheuse, comme un jeu permanent avec l’espace de son point de vue.
